Australian cricketer Michael Neser scored his career-best score of 176* during the current Glamorgan County Championship clash against Leicestershire. Neser is now making a compelling case in the lead up to of next week’s Fourth Ashes Test at Manchester as the hosts ponder about making changes following some cracks appeared displayed in recent times.
Neser 33-year-old has played in two Tests for Australia up to now and has fallen below the pecking order when compared to the names who are included in an XI of players.
He was a good player in the Big Bash League (BBL) campaign with The Brisbane Heat following which he played for Glamorgan as part of the English county circuit. Neser has been a major force in both ball and bat throughout his five County Championship matches he has played in the first five matches.
The right-arm pacer has taken 19 wickets for the rate of 26, including five wickets. He has also scored two hundreds. He made a sensational 123 runs during the match against Sussex and then followed that up by scoring a record-breaking 176 during the Ashes.
